Good morning…
A friend sent me this quote: “2 am was made for writers, lovers, poets, visionaries, photographers, painters, over thinkers and silent seekers.”
I add to the list, 2 am was made for post prom pick up, red lights on timers, and prowling policemen. In addition, 2 am was made for restless patients, hospital angels, and parents of infants or puppies. Finally, 2 am was made for red eye fliers, night shift workers, and diligent warriors of prayer.
We have always known this truth in our weary bones: Anything coaxing us awake at 2 am is experienced best with the strong, gentle presence of the One carrying us through the night.
