Good morning…

“Sue, I had to tell you about the ‘God Wink’ we had this morning and how God used you to reach out to us through your blog,” she emailed me last week. “We were driving up to Highlands, NC this morning with husband’s siblings and families. The purpose of our journey was to have a small ceremony to scatter my father-in-law’s ashes where we scattered my mother-in-law’s ashes 10 years ago. I used the time to read my morning emails and yours is always the first every morning. Imagine my surprise to see the subject “Tucking In Ashes” and then sharing your blog with everyone who also had the same reaction.

I would say that we all felt the presence of God this morning. Although we called our ceremony “Casting of Ashes”, it still had the same meaning and it gives us comfort knowing that his earthly remains are in his final resting place – earth to earth, ashes to ashes and dust to dust.  Thank you for the thoughtfulness you always put into your daily devotions and sharing them with others.”

As we gather together in love, God winks at the perfect time.

No one has seen God at any time. But if we love one another [with unselfish concern], God abides in us, and His love [the love that is His essence abides in us and] is completed and perfected in us (1 John 4:12, AMP).

…Sue…
