Good morning…
Her question was simple and so was my answer.
She asked: “When I am at a loss for words, how do you always seem to know what to say?”
I replied: “Our Creator knows the healing words people need to hear. When I surrender to God’s purposes my mouth and my typing fingers, the LORD’s blessing seeps out effortlessly. Living with prayerful silence as our baseline, listening attentively with the ears of our heart, and speaking with love the words God stirs within, this is the art of discipleship we are all designed to develop. When we are at a loss for words, God will speak through us if we have the patience to follow His lead.”
Invited into dynamic oneness with the Father, Son, and Spirit, we trust our inspired words to echo Jesus’ words: Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work,
