Good morning…
How do you make it through those first moments when the unthinkable happens? Who do you call? What do you do? How do you breath?
How do you sleep again after the unthinkable happens? Eyes red from crying. Heart shattered into pieces. Confusion, what ifs, and “Why, LORD God, why?”
How do you live on when the unthinkable happens? Breath by breath. Moment by moment. Surviving each hour requires every ounce of vulnerable strength.
We sang at church yesterday, “You are not alone when you are lonely.” Many faithful people have crumbled, devastated, onto this rock bottom. Offering words when we have none, one truth teller gives voice to our excruciating pain: I am weary with my groaning; Every night I soak my bed with tears, I drench my couch with my weeping. My eye grows dim with grief, Psalm 6:6-7a (AMP). We feel the touch of God’s gentle whisper, “You are not alone when you are lonely,”
