Two weeks from this morning, I would love you to be with me. Our church family is hosting a conference for the entire community.
LOVE NO MATTER WHAT: A FAMILY CONFERENCE will be held at Northside Church from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on February 27th. Dr. Michael Popkin and I will give the keynote talks, before we enjoy a delicious catered meal, then each guest will choose two of the following break out sessions.
“Strong Together, Marriage Grows,” led by Martha Tate.
“Shepherding Young Children” led by Dr. Michael and Melody Popkin.
“Supporting Teens” led by my husband Rev. Steve Allen and me.
“Successfully Parenting Young Adult Children” led by Ron and Karen Greer.
“Shifting Roles with Aging Parents” led by Triff Cook.
“Sharing Life’s Burdens” led by Randy and Susie Eberhard.

P.S. I just got finished typing this text to a friend: “I got my grad school paper in around 4:00 pm, a bit before the 5:00 pm deadline. What an exhausting 10 days. It’s done. It is in. It is good enough. I will sleep satisfied with “good enough.” She texted back: “An hour to spare – that is absolutely fantastic!” Thank you for all who prayed me over this finish line.
