Good morning…

This week we are savoring an image sparking intimate trust with our living LORD.

On Monday, we learned:

The Lord your God is with you . . . even when you make mistakes.

He is mighty to save (deliver, make whole) . . . even and especially when you fail.

He will take great delight in you . . . even when you can’t stand yourself.

He will quiet you with his love . . . even when everything inside you is screaming or numb.

He will rejoice over you with singing . . . even when your world is falling apart.

These words come back to comfort me right now, as one of you has made me aware of an unintentional mistake on my part.

Graciously one reader wrote: “Dear Sue, As always your posts have value to me and I am always sharing with friends your God sent words. Thank you for posting the young lady speaking to her class of 2017 friends following another tragic death. While the class has lost three students, it is my understanding that two of those deaths were natural causes, a heart problem and cancer. You may not have had that information. Thank you for all you do for our community.”

I hate when I make mistakes, especially when my failings may cause pain to others. So I truly apologize for sharing misinformation. I went back into our post and changed the wording to reflect these updated details. I am grateful for this kind reader reaching out her hand to lift me to a higher level of truth.

On this early fall Sabbath, it is quite comforting to be reminded: The Lord your God is with you . . . even when you make mistakes. He is mighty to save (deliver, make whole) . . . even and especially when you fail.

I invite you to touch on the “past blog posts” button below, savoring our shared journey together this week.

…Sue…
