The joy of this Mother’s Day week is already picking up speed. Our artistic friend Corinne Adams is also a dedicated homework helper at PAWkids, the non-profit downtown where several of us are enjoying quality time. Corinne is in the process of photographing all of the twenty kids in the after school enrichment program. Look at some of these gems!
Today and Wednesday afternoon we will finish taking photos, and the kids will choose their favorite frame. For Mother’s Day, each child will take home a framed 5 x 7 plus single 4 x 6 photos for extra gifts. What memorable fun!
The joy of generosity continues to expand, week after week, holiday by holiday, as we build authentic relationships with our neighbors in Grove Park. Thank you so much for keeping these special kids and their families in your prayers as together we negotiate the challenges of poverty.
