I have heard it said, “We don’t go to church, we go to worship then we go out to be the church in a world that desperately needs the contagious light of our living Lord.”
Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. Carry the light-giving Message into the night (Philippians 2:15-16a, MSG).
Who in your life is going through a dark night season of the soul? A loss. A betrayal. A set of painful circumstances. Like a single candle in the dark of night, how might you be the presence of the living God in your small corner of this world today?
