Wikipedia explains: “Valor generally refers to great courage, bravery, and strength of mind, especially in the face of danger or in battle. It combines physical bravery with moral integrity and noble purpose.”
As the son of one of my forever friends is being deployed to Iran, the cost of war hits close to home.
Lord, on this Memorial Day, please keep in your loving care my friend, her son, and all of our brave troops. Help us to remember those who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom and the loved ones who miss the fallen so deeply. Amen.
