Good morning…
A friend just happened to send me this happy yellow saying on the morning our first grandson visited our home for the first time.
I witnessed this enduring truth in action. Charlie is being smiled into smiling, loved into loving and eventually he will be talked into talking and sung into singing.
This is the embodiment of true love: not that we have loved God first, but that He loved us (1 John 4:10a, VOICE).
From the time we were very little, God has loved us through the Holy Spirit alive in our family and friends, our neighbors, community, and our church family. People have smiled us into smiling, talked us into talking, sung us into singing, and loved us into loving. Now we have the opportunity to graciously do the same with the next generation of very little people.
Smile. Talk. Sing. Love.
