Good morning…
She shared this multifaceted picture taken from her backyard. To my soul, this intriguing photo personifies the quote she also shared.

Life is amazing. And then it’s awful. And then it’s amazing again. And in between the amazing and the awful it’s ordinary and mundane and routine. Breathe in the amazing, hold on through the awful, and relax and exhale during the ordinary. That’s just living heartbreaking, soul-healing, amazing, awful, ordinary life. And it’s breathtakingly beautiful. – L.R. Knost

On this one ordinary day, it is amazing that babies are growing in expanding wombs of women for whom I pray, it is awful that college kids I care for are burying another friend following Saturday’s suicide, and just now life’s mundane routine is creeping back in after the holidays, having hidden out of sight for the entire month of January. Amid all of its heartbreaking and soul-healing moments, this life is truly breathtakingly beautiful.
The sky constantly whispers into our seeking eyes, “Breathe in the amazing, hold on through the awful, and relax and exhale during the ordinary.” Attribute power to the one True God; His royal splendor is evident…and His power courses through the clouds (Psalm 68:34, VOICE).
Both day and night, do we sense, notice, and trust God’s powerful ever-presence?
