Good morning…
Thank you, brave friends. Thank you for engaging in these challenging conversations with me. I have learned much from our two previous posts, “Who Will You Vote For?” and Let’s Talk Politics. As many of us acknowledge, we naturally tend to gravitate toward like minded people, and our perspective is broadened as we listen to one another.
Resting together under a big, bold full moon, one of your responses beams brightest for me.
“Regardless of the outcome, we will get up on November 4 and go to work, go to school, worship our Lord, laugh with our friends, and hug our family members. The United States will survive and overcome all challenges as long as we continue to place our trust in God, not in men.”
As we survive and thrive, God’s peaceful love will spread through us to transform the whole wide world.
What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven—and the future starts now! God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you’ll have it all—life healed and whole (1 Peter 1:3, MSG).
