Good morning…

When I look in my rearview mirror, I savor the healing power of last weekend’s Stir Up the Gift of God in You retreat in St. Simons, Georgia.

With content based on the true story of Christian mystic Betty Skinner, the Spirit of our living God, and the science of awakening, we learned practical ways to renew our mind (Romans 12:2) and to enhance our spiritual resilience and transformational growth. Co-leading the women’s retreat with Dr. Cathy Snapp and Kitty Crenshaw, authors of The Hidden Life Awakened, brought to fruition many years of rich, fertile history. Since the spring of 2007, this book, these authors, and Betty herself have influenced my life in such profound and expansive ways.

Before leaving earth for heaven at age 95 in August of 2021, Betty would say to us, “Girls, I am going to be able to help you so much more when I reach the other side.”

She is certainly making good on her faithful promise. We felt the power of Betty and our eternal God blending, collaborating, pulsing through our amazing weekend in undeniable ways.

Now, beyond the retreat, Betty’s transformational wisdom is expanding in ever-increasing ways.

We’re so excited to offer an opportunity to pursue a one-month pilgrimage with Betty, guided by Cathy Snapp, PHD and Geralyn Russell, integrating the neuroscience and positive psychology of lasting, sustainable transformation from Path2Green, an award willing emotional resilience program. The Path2Green is an innovative evidence-based model for personalized health and well-being, having been published and presented at over 30 international and national conferences, in multiple formats. During this pilgrimage, the Path2Green will be integrated with the wisdom in The Hidden Life Awakened. We’ll learn tools and techniques for finding peace and satisfaction, in your place of home, work or worship and understand how our feelings, thoughts and choices impact our physiology and visa-versa. You will learn how to apply science and scripture for:

o Loving communication
o Unconditional love of self and other
o How to practice the presence of God, moment by moment
o How to shift and activate better feeling thoughts
o How to transform conflict
o Creating micro goals for sustainable change
o Growing our capacity for experiencing more and more of the “peace that passes understanding” (Philippians 4:7)

Join us for what promises to be a transformational journey into our true selves, in Christ.

The influence of Betty Skinner continues to powerfully ripple out. One of her holy writings explains the divine dynamic, quite simply.

A circle full of ripples

from one pebble in a pond

fades unobtrusively

into forever

like a quiet life

poured out in love.

Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel (Philippians 4:7, CEV).
