Good morning…
Yesterday we huddled around my husband’s cell phone to watch a viral video. This week’s footage of an avalanche closing in on a vulnerable hiker sparks an honest prayer.
“Oh God. Oh dear God.”
The Lord is my Rock, my fortress, my place of safety. He is my God, the Rock I run to for protection. He is my shield; by his power I am saved. He is my hiding place high in the hills (Psalm 18:2, ERV).
As we experience this visceral video, might we each consider, “What avalanche of rumbling emotions am I caught in right now?”
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, KJV).
“Oh God. Oh dear God.”
