Good morning…

Together we are learning about Ring Theory, concentric circles of support expanding out from each individual (see yesterday’s blog post Our Words Matter). During this Covid-19 crisis, we recognize the importance of sending “comfort in” to the front line workers, those in danger, those grieving, and we work our own “grief out” with people in our larger circles of support. It is as if Alicia Keys read about Ring Theory before she wrote the lyrics to her new song Good Job, which just debuted this week with photos honoring front line heroes. Alicia is a famous stranger for most of us, living on one of our largest circle of connectivity, yet her loving voice sends “comfort in” to all of us. Click on the link below and be encouraged by her song along with the images awakening our compassionate collective conscience. We are each a part of God’s support system, hour in and hour out. Day after day. Long week by long week.

Remember God’s healing dynamic beautifully bonding us all: “Send comfort in. Work grief out.”

So we, who are many, are [nevertheless just] one body in Christ, and individually [we are] parts one of another [mutually dependent on each other] (Romans 12:5, AMP).

…Sue…

P.S. Happy eighty-third birthday, Dad, in Ohio, and happy almost-sixtieth to you, Jayne, in Connecticut. I am grateful to have both of you in my inner circle. I love you.
