Good morning…

“I’ve been a nervous wreck!” she said in her email. “I’ve been praying for peace, and your weekend devotionals have really helped and reaffirmed what I already know – God is with us, He’s for us, and He has a plan. I have to trust completely in Him. And let go of worry and fear. I opened my Jesus Calling today and turned ahead to see what tomorrow, January 9, said and couldn’t believe what I read. I had to share with you, and thought you could show your daughter on her first day of school at her new college. God is indeed with her!”

Sarah Young writes today in Jesus Calling, “I am with you and for you. When you decide on a course of action that is in line with My will, nothing in heaven or on earth can stop you…with My help you can overcome any obstacle. Do not expect an easy path as you journey hand in hand with Me, but do remember that I, your very-present Helper, am omnipotent (which means having unlimited power, able to do anything, almighty, invincible, unrestricted).

Much, much stress results from your wanting to make things happen before their time has come. One of the main ways I assert My sovereignty is in the timing of events. If you want to stay close to Me and do things My way, ask Me to show you the path forward moment by moment. Instead of dashing headlong toward your goal, let Me set the pace. Slow down and enjoy the journey in My Presence.”

What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us? (Romans 8:31, AMP).

God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable],
A very present and well-proved help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear… (Psalm 46:1-2a, AMP).

For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible (Luke 1:37, AMP).

Let’s slow down, stay close, and enjoy life with God.
