Good morning…
“God’s beauty this am with our first snow,” wrote a friend. Around 7:00 yesterday morning, she texted photos from her porch in Black Mountain, North Carolina.
“Wow! How gorgeous,” I replied, as my eyes savored the colors and the shadows and the textures.
“Right now, I am looking at a pink sky also, as a new day rises above downtown Atlanta, with little Cami bundled on my lap,” I wrote with a few photos.

Every season of the year, simple pleasures surround us. Colors and shadows and textures. Friends and nature’s beauty and cuddly puppies who will never be this small again.
Your prayers need not be labored or lengthy or grandiose—for your Father knows what you need before you ever ask Him. Your prayers, rather, should be simple, like this:
Our Father in heaven,
let Your name remain holy.
Bring about Your kingdom.
Manifest Your will here on earth,
as it is manifest in heaven (Matthew 6:8-10, VOICE).
As an easy form of prayer, what simple pleasures might you thank God for right now?
…Sue…
