Good morning…
“God is protecting you in the midst of his presence,” says the tender image above, an image I reworked into yesterday’s post.
Then I received a text from a friend who is going through a very challenging time. We planned a spontaneous walk and talk to the nearby horse farm, meeting up at the stop sign centered between our two homes. Through candid, back-and-forth conversation, God’s voice was amplified. Together we were being taught very similar truths.
- Unable to manage everything, we need to surrender all.
- Trusting God’s protective presence, we have enough.
- Choosing to love well, we unhook from the behavior of other people.
- Sharing our jumble of thoughts and emotions, we uncover our true selves.
- It is strengthening to be seen, to be heard, to be supported “as is.”
Soon after I arrived home, she sent me the bonding video below along with the kind text, “Love you friend.”
I was moved to laughter and warmed by connection as I watched wildly different animals supporting one another. Might God’s extravagant love also move and warm you as you watch this touching video? Please face the challenges of today knowing, really knowing you’ve got a Friend.
The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them (Isaiah 11:6, NIV).
