moon

Good morning…

As I took our puppy out to do her business this morning, I looked up and the moon was half gone. How could that be?

Just a short time ago, the big ball was full and bright, the exquisite handiwork of God. A friend actually sent me this fascinating Instagram post about the February full moon. Revisiting it now, I remember the wonderful winter brilliance.

And so we come to the end of this musing over life. My advice to you is to remember your Creator, God, while you are young: before life gets hard and the injustice of old age comes upon you—before the years arrive when pleasure feels far out of reach— before the sun and light and the moon and stars fade to darkness and before cloud-covered skies return after the rain (Ecclesiastes 12:1-2, VOICE).

Fullness fades. Savor the beauty of now. Remember your Creator, God.
