Good morning…
Yesterday’s blog post included one of my favorite Bible verses. Before leaving earth for heaven, Jesus told his followers, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8, NIV).
I have experienced this dynamic spreading through our written word ministry, SueToYou.com. I receive power in the middle of the night when the Holy Spirit comes on me, and our blog becomes a witness in Atlanta, and in all of Georgia and the United States, before it miraculously extends to the ends of the earth.
Because our morning messages are created outside of the daytime hours I invest as Women’s Ministry Director at Northside Church, the funds to support our written word ministry come from the “Gratitude Gifts” offered by our regular readers. As you express your gratitude for our ministry, your financial gifts do four important things.
1) Help to cover ongoing costs associated with our website, online mailings, computer upkeep and technical training to improve our daily gift.
2) Support the sustainability of the early morning hours I spend daily discerning and developing fresh messages with God.
3) Reimburse the time I invest personally responding to the many readers who rely on our ministry as an intimate lifeline to God.
4) Provide seed money for God to more widely expand our written word ministry, interacting with God-seekers across our globe.
