Good morning…
“I enjoyed this week’s materials and hearing your story,” wrote the Creative Director who had just finished programming Week Six our Gift from the Sea study. “I admire your courage and vulnerability not just with God, but with your audience in sharing that story. It feels like a heavy one, but beautiful in its faithful ending.” (Check out my most pivot life story below in Segments Four and Five of our Week Six material.)
“Thanks for your encouragement,” I replied. “It is the story that changed my life in so many dramatic ways. The biggest thing I learned very personally is this: we are in intimate relationship with a God who speaks to ordinary people. Always. That’s pretty incredible. Listening well and being led by an invisible God, this becomes our daily challenge.”
God’s timing was perfect. Again. As I finished our email exchanged, I received the following video from a woman in our online community, who is out in Portland, Oregon visiting family. It is as if God stepped up to show us all, “I am here, I am speaking, I am with you. Always.”
I watched the video and peacefully read aloud to myself every single word. Seeing. Hearing. Engaging with our communicative Creator, who speaks one way, then another, we experience a powerful truth: “God is happening. Always.”
Intimately interacting with God moment by moment, we must ask ourselves, “Am I electrically aware?”
