Good morning…

In important matters, God gets our attention. His “surround sound” method of speaking cracks me up. After yesterday’s post, I Made A Mistake, my friend emailed me: “This should make you chuckle. Look what is in my inbox this morning!”

“I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re doing something.” – Neil Gaiman

She is right. As I re-read the exact quote God inspired me to post on the very same morning, I did chuckle and I wrote her right back: “God is hilarious! I have never read this quote before today. Here it is twice. I have never heard of Neil Gaiman. Here he is twice. I guess when God speaks in surround sound, we are wise to listen. Happy mistake-making, my friend!”

…God speaks your mother tongue, and you hang on every word…(Romans 6:11, MSG).
