Good morning…

One song ran through my mind repeatedly yesterday as my heart was prayerfully focused on those hurting tremendously in our community. The song filling my being all day long was the song we used to sing to our children every night as we tucked them into bed after a story and a prayer. Through nightly repetition, this simple song of comfort provides a source of permanent hope.

“God will make a way when there seems to be no way.
He works in ways we cannot see. God will make a way for me.
He will be my guide. He’ll hold me closely to His side.
With love and strength for each new day, God will make a way.
God WILL make a way.”

I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland, Isaiah 43:19b (NLT),
