hope

Good morning…

When Elizabeth and her husband Graham received her colon cancer diagnosis, prayer was their first response. With honesty and faith she blogged about her cancer journey, inviting us to join their family in fervent prayer. At age thirty-nine, Elizabeth went to heaven this summer, and our prayers continue to surround this special family. Offering an update, I thought you would enjoy reading the posts Graham shared over the past few months.

As our Thursday morning class resumed after summer break, we asked Joan (Graham’s mom and our dear friend) how the family was doing. She said, “I have just one word to describe how I feel when look at my son and their kids – hope. With all of the love surrounding and supporting them, I feel real hope for our future as a family.”

May we as invisible prayer warriors continue to lift this family into the light of our living LORD. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary (Hebrews 6:19, NLT).
