Good morning…
Usually I do not read the dedication page of a new book. I skim right over those obligatory words, craving the meat of the author’s wisdom. But for some unknown reason this time is different.
“Dedicated to the indwelling Divine Guest whose Voice is heard in the Silence.” Wow. With these words, God gets my attention. Now I flip the page and read the Preface.

Excerpt from Psalms for Praying: An Invitation To Wholeness
…Since the nations’ governments, environment, and peoples of the world are repeatedly changing, we are all faced with new challenges; in response, prayers of millions of individuals are rising up to bear witness to Love in these unsettling times. Praying the Psalms with heartfelt attention and intention can be a step toward our souls awakening to the Love Consciousness being brought into the light out of the ashes of terror and destruction in our day.
To pray is to be transformed. We become One in the Silence with the pray-ers from every country who are scattering seeds of love and light into the chaos; thus, we blanket the world with a web of peace.
Just as light dispels darkness, fear cannot exist where love exists… May the prayers of all who read, pray, or sing the Psalms help awaken us to the Peace of the Beloved indwelling in every soul. May we become peace, and may we each know the gentle joy of co-creating with the Beloved on behalf of Earth: our home.
In the Silence,
Nan Merrill

We are all faced with new challenges and yet we rise up to bear witness to God’s enduring Love in these unsettling times. As we pray in Silence and live the Scriptures, we individuals across the globe are scattering seeds of love and light into the chaos, blanketing the world with a web of peace. Where love exists, fear is dispelled. In union with God, we gently become co-creators of joy.
Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked [following their advice and example],
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit [down to rest] in the seat of scoffers (ridiculers).
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And on His law [His precepts and teachings] he [habitually] meditates day and night.
And he will be like a tree firmly planted [and fed] by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season;
Its leaf does not wither;
And in whatever he does, he prospers [and comes to maturity] (Psalm 1:1-3, AMP).
Firmly planted as co-creators of joy and peace, let’s come to maturity in union with God.
