Good morning…
I spent my earliest morning hours crafting yesterday’s blog with God, Five Years Of Unfolding. After I pressed “send” to share with you our post for the day, the Spirit drew me to another Scripture verse. Quietly I went back into yesterday’s message and added the following lines.
Together we have witnessed God’s promise coming vibrantly true: “The life that pleases me is a life lived in the gratitude of grace, always choosing to walk with me in what is right. This is the sacrifice I desire from you. If you do this, more of my salvation will unfold for you” (Psalm 50:23, TPT).
If we are going to walk in the life-giving ways of our LORD, it is very important for us to learn what pleases God. This verse helps me to understand more fully what our Creator desires from us daily.
- We are designed to live our lives “in the gratitude of grace.”
- As we choose to walk with the LORD we are guided, taking the next right step, one step at a time.
- Morning by morning, we actively choose sacrifice, placing all of the elements of our ordinary lives before God as our daily offering.
- As we do this, more of God’s salvation – which in the original language means wholeness – more and more of God’s wholeness will unfold for us.
May we continue to live “in the gratitude of grace,” whispering to our Sustainer, “At each and every sunrise you will hear my voice as I prepare my sacrifice of prayer to you. Every morning I lay out the pieces of my life on the altar and wait for your fire to fall upon my heart” (Psalm 5:3, TPT).
