Happy St. Patrick’s Day…

Did you know what the three leaves of the shamrock symbolize?

Faith. Hope. Love.

I learned this truth at PAWkids during our art project last Monday. Using a large array of art supplies, I saw these three God-given qualities come to life.

Art stirs up what exists within us. This is true with adults and with kids. From 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Mondays, during our arts and crafts time at PAWkids, it is so fun to watch the kids’ unique inner gifts blossom out into the world.

Faith is felt. Hope is sparked. Love is contagious.

As we were cleaning up last week, one creative soul encouraged all of us to sign our names on the newspaper used to catch stray paint. We all added our signatures before this creative child of God demonstrated how we can all send faith, hope, and love into the world, just like a paper airplane.

Like sending a paper airplane to a person who will catch the gift, today what are tangible ways we might send out faith, hope, and love from our own creative soul to someone special in this needy world?

At this time there are three things that continue. We continue to trust God. We continue to hope for his good things. We continue to love other people. But the most important of these things is love (1 Corinthians 13:13, EASY).

Abiding with God, we simply let love fly.

P.S. If you would like to join our group of volunteers bringing fun art projects to PAWkids from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Mondays during the school year, please let me know. We also are in need of volunteers to provide a family style dinner for the kids from 5:00 to 6:00 pm each Monday night. What a great way to act in faith, bringing hope and love to our neighbors in Grove Park.

If you are interested, reach out to me, and I will send you sign up links.
