Good morning…
Over the Zoom call connecting Joanna from her bedroom in Minnesota and me from my vacation in Pennsylvania, we shared an ah-ha moment.
“I’m finally embracing the fact that I’m not a logical thinker,” Joanna said with a contagious smile. “I’m a creative problem solver.”
The heart of this nineteen year old is cut from a similar swath of cloth as the heart pumping abundant life through me. God’s big wide world needs both logical thinkers and creative problem solvers. The key is for each of us is to embrace our own unique wiring, an intricate mystery woven within us before we were born.
You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside and my intricate outside, and wove them all together in my mother’s womb. I thank you, God, for making me so mysteriously complex! Everything you do is marvelously breathtaking. It simply amazes me to think about it!
How thoroughly you know me, Lord! You even formed every bone in my body when you created me in the secret place; carefully, skillfully you shaped me from nothing to something. You saw who you created me to be before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book.
Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought! O God, your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, you’re still with me (Psalm 139:13-18, TPT).
What a joy to meet a new friend who sees at a young age that she is was made for more than breathing. Be inspired by the life-giving gifts of Joanna as you take a few quiet moments to explore her website, prayerfully pondering, “What deep desires might God have for my one-of-a-kind life?”
