quote

Good morning…

Today we will gather to honor the tender life of Jessica Martin. The simple quote above captures her essence. Jess loved very, very deeply. She listened attentively. She whispered prayers often. When moments of peace settled in, she fully embraced them. Jess gave her time to God and to the people who mattered most. Her very personal obituary paints a beautiful picture of her vibrant life. Prayerfully soak in a sweet sense of Jessica as you touch on this link: https://www.legacy.com/legacy/jessica-martin

Her obituary concludes:

“A service celebrating Jessica’s life will be held on Saturday, July 18th at 3 p.m. at Kairos Church followed by an outdoor reception. In honor of Jessica’s love of color and all things lovely, guests are encouraged to wear bright-colored attire; formal dress is not necessary. The service will also be live streamed in Inglett Hall at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church.

In lieu of flowers, Jessica’s family asks that you give your loved ones extra bear hugs today, walk around the block at sunset, or call a friend who will make you laugh too hard. Donations can be made to the Kairos Church Jessica K. Martin Mental Health Scholarship Fund which will provide counseling stipends to people in the community seeking mental health care.”

Remember what Jesus promised? “…when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself” (John 12:32, NLT).

Forever we trust that Jessica has been drawn into the full, healing presence of our living Lord.
