Good morning…
St. Francis of Assisi made poetry of our common daily experiences.
Such love does the sky now pour, that whenever I stand in a field, I have to wring out the light when I get home.
Constantly drenched by God’s endless love, might we wring out vibrant light wherever we go? Anyone who claims to live in God’s light and hates a brother or sister is still in the dark. It’s the person who loves brother and sister who dwells in God’s light and doesn’t block the light from others (1 John 2:9-10, VOICE).
The sky freely pours out such love, such love. Let’s dwell in God’s light and not block abundant love from any other person.
Bringing to life these empowering words of St. Francis, Andrea von Kampen sings her song, Such Love. Enjoy Andrea’s quirky music video as the camera captures her wringing out God’s light and love all over every ordinary thing.
