Good morning…
As our spring semester draws to an end at Northside Church, all of our Bible studies for women channel into one Zoom study for the summer. Here are this year’s details.

Summer Reading Group 2024
A Longing to Belong: Reflections on Faith, Identity, and Race by Michelle Lee-Barnewall
A blend of memoir and theological reflection, Michelle Lee-Barnewall shares her unique Korean-American story and the search for identity that followed. Understanding her experience through the lens of the New Testament, Lee-Barnewall reveals what the gospel of God’s grace in Christ has to say about our shared longings as members of the family of God. (A finalist in Christianity Today’s 2024 Book Awards)
Three Simple Rules: A Wesleyan Way of Living by Rueben P. Job
A simple but challenging book that calls us to mutual respect, unity, and a deeper relationship with God. Ideas presented by 18th century minister, John Wesley, are interpreted into modern day living by author Rueben Job. Applicable to all desiring to follow Christ. This little brown book packs a big punch!
Summer reading Group begins on June 5 at 10 am via Zoom. We will meet on Wednesdays in June and July (with the exception of July 3) ~ Everyone is welcome to read and discuss and learn! Purchase your own books and email Caroline Smith to receive the Zoom link at fitzco1@comcast.net.

For you, the Eternal’s Word is your happiness.
It is your focus—from dusk to dawn.
You are like a tree,
planted by flowing, cool streams of water that never run dry.
Your fruit ripens in its time;
your leaves never fade or curl in the summer sun (Psalm 1:2-3a, VOICE).
Everyone belongs, and every voice is valued. Those in Atlanta and those far away. Church members and non-members. First timers and repeat attenders. If the Spirit is nudging you to join us for the summer, please reach out to Caroline.
I hope to see your face on the screen!
…Sue…
P.S. A big thanks to Caroline who prayerfully picks our summer reads and diligently leads our discussions each week.
