Good morning…
Recently, I received an email from a faithful, longtime friend.
“In a world often characterized by division, this is an opportunity for us to come together in a simple yet powerful way,” she wrote. “Research shows it takes just 30 days to build a new habit. So here’s the KIND30 challenge: extend one small act of kindness every day in October, which is also Mental Health Month.”
She went on to explain this hands-on, grass-roots opportunity.

KIND30, which stands for Kindness Is Needed Daily, is all about forming a habit of kindness that can last beyond October. Imagine the impact if each of us did something as simple as:
- Holding a door open for someone
- Letting someone go ahead of you in line
- Smiling at a stranger
- Writing a prayer card to someone in need
- Leaving bottled water for your garbage collectors
- Giving up that prized parking spot!
These small acts can make a big difference—not just for others, but for ourselves as well. By participating in KIND30, we can address the loneliness and mental health struggles that so many face and fulfill the message of 1 Thessalonians 5:11 … Encourage one another and build one another up…
This movement is simple, free, and open to everyone. Would you please share this invitation with your contacts? To learn more, visit www.KIND30.org. And of course, if you have any questions, please contact me at judithpharrison@gmail.com.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, for checking out www.KIND30.org and for considering being KIND!

What would it feel like if we all walked around in our daily lives choosing kindness for thirty straight days, building a habit of small kind acts? The ripple effect, can you imagine it?
So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you’ll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind (1 Thessalonians 5:11a, MSG).
