Good morning…

I touched on the video link in yesterday’s post, a link highlighting the important work of the Ignatian Spirituality Project (ISP). What popped up in tiny letters on my screen? “Error establishing a database connection.” God is in our glitches, and I absolutely love that I can share a whole post on this transformational non-profit ministry.

“The Ignatian Spirituality Project (ISP),” their website explains, “works to end homelessness by offering Ignatian retreats, days of reflection, and on-going spiritual companionship. The retreats, rooted in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius and the 12-Step recovery program, provide men and women who are homeless and recovering from addictions a chance to reclaim the hope that transformation is possible. ISP is a national organization with volunteer teams in 27+ cities throughout the United States and Canada and is committed to growing our network so that more women and men might receive the gift of the Ignatian Spirituality.”

We are fortunate to have a vibrant, ongoing ISP program here in Atlanta, hosted at the Ignatius House Retreat Center. To understand more fully the work of this life-changing ministry, please Watch this short video.

God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us… (1 John 4:17, MSG).

P.S. What a joy to tithe 10% of the gratitude gifts gathered from our written word ministry in 2018 to support the transformational work of ISP.
