Good morning…
I am a blank slate. Still. Empty. Expectant.
I am an open book. Laid bare. Stretched wide. Written upon by time.
I am a two-way street. One lane: “God, what do You need to say?” Other lane: “What do we need to sense?”
Each morning I wake as a blank slate, an open book, a two-way street receptive to fresh gifts from our living LORD.
Jesus ponders: Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work (John 14:10, NIV).
Jesus prays: I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me (John 17:21, NLT).
Jesus promises: I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach], because I am going to the Father (John 14:12, AMP).
We who believe in Jesus as Savior wake each morning as a blank slate, an open book, a two-way street at one with the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. With us living in God and God living in us, greater things are accomplished every single day.
