“Good morning,” she texted after yesterday’s post When We Are Weak And Weary, a post highlighting the soulful symphony of birds and the positive benefits of regularly taking at least seventeen seconds to focus on something soothing, something beautiful, something life-giving. “We are on the same wavelength,” my friend wrote, “I recorded this cell phone video on Saturday! So soothing – loved your reflection today.”

I thoroughly enjoyed the video below, and I was amazed at the synchronicity between yesterday’s inspired words and the recording my special friend sent from Jackson Hole, Wyoming. “The Spirit of God is so thick between us,” I texted back, “carrying us on such similar wavelengths so much of the time. Thank you for being my traveling buddy with God, day in and day out.”

Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies (Philippians 4:8, MSG).

Now it’s your turn to thoroughly enjoy the synchronicity of the Spirit who is working us all into God’s most excellent harmonies.
