love

Good morning…

My parents wake in Ohio awaiting Thursday’s doctor visit, hoping for positive scan results and a clear treatment plan for my dad’s prostate cancer.

The DeShetler family and college friends wake at Notre Dame following last night’s moving mass which honored the eternal life of Audrey.

This morning, fifteen women recovering from homelessness and addiction wake to the healing of the ISP Retreat at Ignatius House Retreat Center.

Those who will begin our Women’s Ministry classes this week, we all wake expectant, looking forward to another amazing semester of learning with God.

Katherine Wolf, author and founder of Hope Heals, wakes prepared to speak to our Morning Mission Circle at Mend Coffee at 10:30 am today.

Our whole Allen family wakes on this day my husband Steve will be honored for his thirty years of service at tonight’s Lovett Founder’s Reception.

Various friends and family members, loved ones and leaders, strangers and enemies, we all wake today facing all sorts of unique challenges.

I wonder now. Across miles and states, wherever we wake, what bonds us all?

love

But the unfailing love of the Eternal is always and eternal
for those who reverently run after Him.
He extends His justice on and on to future generations,
To those who will keep His bond of love
and remember to walk in the guidance of His commands (Psalm 103:17-18, VOICE).

Limitless love proceeds from God, bonding us in Heaven and on earth. Wherever we wake, might we remember to rest in the healing love of our living LORD?

We are bonded as we remember to rest in God’s love.
