Good morning…
One of my blog posts from this week felt meaningful when it was crafted around 3:00 am, but when I re-woke and re-read the words, my soul crinkled her nose, “This one is a dud.” I told myself, “Everyone has times when hearing God is a real stretch. I think these words came from me, not from the Holy Spirit. Shrug it off. It has happened before and it will happen again.”
Then, weirdly, the post drew responses from others. “That was just what I needed to hear.” “Today’s post brought tears to my eyes.” Even, “My mom forwarded me your message and said I should subscribe to your blog.”
God knows what God is doing, we do not.
By your [patient] endurance [empowered by the Holy Spirit] you will gain your souls (Luke 21:19, AMP).
