Good morning…
“I am blessed to own the original of this wonderful painting by a very special artist,” wrote my friend. “The painting is entitled, ‘Even When I Can’t Feel You’ by Elizabeth Londen.”
Then she shared her intimate thoughts from yesterday.

Epiphany 2025 by Vilda Stone Brannen, January 6, 2025
There is a sadness that comes across this Epiphany day.
The spaces once filled with lights, stars, angels and bells
Have suddenly gone dark and silent
The mangers with the Holy family, the shepherds and wise men
Find their way back to their boxes for another year
The candles snuffed out.
The trees and winter greens removed
The scents have faded
And yet, the Spirit inhabits this house and my soul
My heart is called to carry the merriment and light
Into this New Year –2025
God calls my name
“Come into the unknown which lies ahead.
Trust My path. I know the way when you feel alone or lost.
Carry the Light of this season into the year ahead.
Call My name. You will not be misled.”

Even when we can’t feel God, the Spirit inhabits our house, our soul, and the unknown future ahead.
More and more people are seeing this: they enter the mystery, abandoning themselves to God (Psalm 40:3, MSG).
