Good morning…
Those who have subscribed to our blog for a while now remember that in June, July, and August we revisit our favorite posts from the school year. Many of you share with me the titles of messages that have been most meaningful to you, I tally your responses, and I gift those words to the Creative Services department at Northside Church, where I am the Women’s Ministry Director. Then Northside creates an online devotional which arrives in subscribers’ inbox every summer morn.
This week I met with our Director of Creative Services, and we brainstormed a lively vision for our 2018 Summertime Devotional: Breath God In – Live God Out. The next step is to hear from you about which messages you have loved most since September 1st. I will take your recommendations and weave your favorites in with our posts that have received over one thousand views. This month of May, I will write fresh messages in our ordinary format, sharing the sign up link for new summertime subscribers, and come June 1st you will receive Day One of Breath God In – Live God Out, adorned with watercolor art from Northside Church. These pre-programmed messages will continue daily until September 1st, when I will return to write again morning after morning.
