Good morning…
I have a secret confession to make. I hate chain letters. You know the type of emails requiring you to pass along the message to a specific number of people, in a specific amount of time, or else countless blessings will not rush forth or ugly curses will somehow befall. Honestly I often love what is written in these messages, and I always adore the thoughtful person who sends it to me, choosing me as one in their inner circle of top friends during this season of life. I just hate the pressure. I hate the implication that failing to reply or deciding not to pass along the email to eight more friends will break the chain and destroy some magical mojo.
I adore, absolutely adore, the woman who sent me the following email this morning. She is definitely one of the best in my inner circle of friends, this life season and forever. And actually I love these words enough to send the blessing along to you, not because I have to “or else…” but because I want you to feel God’s authentic love encouraging you today. I must tell you right now, I take the liberty of gently blending God’s name into the original message, because I believe our Creator is the Giver of the unconditional love pouring forth from these beautiful words.
Now that I think about it, in a round about way, I am being compliant, returning the gift to my friend who is a “sue2you” subscriber. I have no idea what will “happen on the 4th day,” but I know any big blessing rolling our way is because God has handpicked it for us, not because I am pressing “send” to over 500 subscribers.
I know how to get along and live humbly [in difficult times], and I also know how to enjoy abundance and live in prosperity. In any and every circumstance I have learned the secret [of facing life], whether well-fed or going hungry, whether having an abundance or being in need. I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.] Philippians 4:12-13 (AMP),
Sue
SIT WITH ME!
There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Forget the bad, and focus on the good. Love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don’t. Life is too short to be anything but content. “Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living.”
I’m supposed to pick 8 women who have touched my life and who I think might participate. Please send this back to me. Remember to just read the quotation. That’s all you have to do. There is nothing attached. Just send this to 8 women you would like to sit at your table and let me know what happens on the 4th day. Thank you!!
Quote: “Today may there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in God, yourself, and others. May you use the gifts that you have received and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. God is offering endless love to each and every one of us.
Now, send this to 8 women or more within the next 5 minutes. And remember to send this back, I count as 1. You’ll see why.
Life is Positively God’s!
