Good morning…

Yesterday’s mysterious breakdown in connection with our morning message, “So It Was With Marian,” occurred when I was nestled in the Macon Centreplex, in Macon, Georgia. We were watching our youngest son compete to a third place finish in the 132 lb. weight class in the Georgia High School Association wrestling tournament and cheering on other talented Lovett teammates along with their awesome parents. Earlier in the week I had scheduled the post to arrive in our inboxes at 3:00 am, but instead we all woke yesterday to “Oops, This Page Could Not Be Found!” Away from our desk top computer for the long, final day of exciting competition, I simply could not remedy the problem.

Rather than filling up with frustration, I relaxed into peace, trusting that any of us interested in yesterday’s message could savor the wisdom of “So It Was With Marian” on this Sabbath morn instead. Please touch on the “Previous” tab at the top of this post to enjoy the message we all missed yesterday. Then you are welcome to repeatedly, peacefully press “Previous” to review the learning we have experienced together this week, gleaning a deeper understanding that with every “Breakdown” comes God’s invitation into “Spiritual Awakening.”

He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me. So I am well pleased with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, and with difficulties, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak [in human strength], then I am strong [truly able, truly powerful, truly drawing from God’s strength] (2 Corinthians 12:9-10, AMP).
