Good morning…
We all have founding fathers, generations of grandfathers, and some of us have beloved fathers at home in heaven, at home right now, feasting with our Heavenly Father as we celebrate this special day set aside for dads. Out of sight but in our minds, how will we celebrate the legacy of our loved ones this one-of-a-kind Father’s Day?
This week our posts have centered around one deeply missed dad, a father who passionately served pancakes, who carried a wonder-filled poem in his wallet, and who will be celebrated forever for deeply, daily loving family, friends, and strangers. On this special Sabbath day, we return to the songs, the poems, the words of wisdom coming alive in our posts from this week. This day and each day, may we reflect on the blessings bestowed by our fathers on earth and our fathers in heaven.
What did Jesus say about the cyclical, everlasting nature of fatherly love? “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love” (John 15:9, NIV).

P.S. To my own father: “With you in Ohio and me here-in-Georgia, you are out of sight but not out of mind. Happy Father’s Day, dad. I love you and you love me, as we both remain in the endless love of living LORD.”
