Good morning…
Every single morning, the power of the living Christ rises like the sun. Do we sense it? Do we trust it? Do we notice God’s quiet, reliable movement?
Our only task is to stay plugged into the Source of eternal power. My friends, this single act, this act of staying plugged in, tops our to-do list every day.
But our ancestors resisted following You. They were arrogant. They were proud. They refused to obey Your commands, plugging their ears. Knowing what You had done for them in the past, They willfully forgot it in the present.
Stubborn. Rebellious. Instead of following You, They appointed their own leader to take them back to the land of their oppression—
But You are not like us, God. You are filled with love, compassion, and forgiveness. You endure much with your anger and display Your loyal love; You did not abandon them (Nehemiah 9:16-17, VOICE).
And, in our own arrogant pride, our willful forgetting, and our stubborn rebellion, You will not abandon us.
Our one daily priority is to stay plugged into the Holy Spirit power rising reliably with the sun.
