Good morning…
Last night, on the grounds of my parents’ senior living community in Ohio, I went on a walk at dusk, around 7:30 pm.

At 7:56 pm, I received this update from the DeShetler family.

I gave my full focus to our God, the Maker of heaven and earth, asking for divine healing power to saturate Audrey’s body, mind, and spirit.
Then I saw a bush set ablaze by the setting sun. A familiar Bible verse came to mind. “Take off your shoes, for you are standing on holy ground” (Exodus 3:5b, TLB). I certainly sensed this truth: where we are standing, praying in this gap for Audrey, is holy ground.
I took off my shoes, and walked in the cool grass.

I walked and prayed for over an hour, trusting the undeniable presence of God to miraculously stretch from Ohio to Atlanta, transforming the ICU room where Audrey was lying.
