Good morning…
Tomorrow, our faithful family at Northside Church is celebrating 75 fertile years of sharing the love of Christ. I love the logo designed by our talented Creative Art department, especially the winding river of stones pouring through the centered cross of Christ. This “river of life” adorns the floor in Northside’s sacred prayer chapel. I believe the prayer chapel is the pinnacle of our church.
Through painstaking ordeals, we have prayed alone and we have prayed together in this nurturing space. We have lit candles and whispered our requests, asking the Almighty God to heal, to guide, to empower us in the midst of our many challenges. Deep down in the innermost of our innermost, we have experienced our vibrant church as a loyal house of prayer.
I will bring them into my holy mount, and will make them joyful in my house of prayer: their holocausts, and their victims shall please me upon my altar: for my house shall be called the house of prayer, for all nations (Isaiah 56:7, DRA).
From a deep place of connection with God and with one another, from the birth of our church and through all the years, we have witnessed the love of God filling us to overflowing. With the “river of life” running through our veins of prayer, we, at Northside Church, are known for pouring out God’s abundant love. With the “river of life” flowing through us, may the whole world know we are Christians by our love.
