Good morning…
As the light of tonight’s full moon peeks through our window, the hopes for our first grandbaby grow big in my heart.
On Saturday, our whole immediate family gathered to learn the gender of this precious new family member, who is due on May 15th, our daughter-in-law’s birthday. With our eyes closed shut, an Henri’s cookie was slipped into our outstretched hands. At the perfect moment, we were instructed to opened our palms and our eyes. Voila, a blue dot! We are expecting a boy.

Kyler and Chandler’s new baby boy will join the son of Chandler’s sister, who lives in Smyrna, Georgia, and the two grand-boys of my sister, who live near my parents in Ohio. We snapped a photo of Kyler and Chandler Facetiming with my mom and dad, sharing the exciting news that they will be great grandparents again in May.

What a full weekend, the baby reveal on Saturday, announcing the hope of new life, and All Saints Day and the Suicide Prevention walk on Sunday, honoring the death and resurrection of loved ones who have returned to our Creator.
As tonight’s full moon tangibly reminds us, the ending of one life cycle gives birth to the next, generation after generation. This is what God planned for the climax of all times: to bring all things together in Christ, the things in heaven along with the things on earth (Ephesians 1:10, CEB).
