Good morning…
As I walked with a young mom last week, we talked about the unique quality of friendships in the Atlanta area. So many amazing women come and go throughout the seasons of our lives. Without the regular overlaps which happen naturally in small town living, we need to be intentional about connecting with the important ladies who have helped to shape us into who we are today.
We experience this same dynamic within our church family at Northside. As women in this faith community, we have worshipped together and prayed together, served together and learned together, laughed together and cried together. Yet with three services on Sundays and various Bible studies and service opportunities meeting each day throughout the week, we don’t regularly see all the ladies that we love.

Please join Christa Groves and me, as we host our Ladies Legacy Luncheon, celebrating 75 years of cherished history of the faithful women at Northside Church.
On Sunday, February 8th at 12:30 pm, we will enjoy an intergenerational feast, welcoming our girlfriends and our mothers, our daughters and our granddaughters. Gathering in the Watson Faith & Arts Center, we’ll share stories and create new memories built on our foundation of faith, family, and friendship. Pictures of your family and friends, taken by a professional photographer, will be made available to you.
All ages are welcome! Register via www.NorthsideUMC.org/ladieslegacy
You will hear the sounds of happy people… You will hear the voices of people as they bring gifts to the Lord’s temple to thank him. They will say, “We thank the Lord Almighty, because he is good. His faithful love continues for ever” (Jeremiah 33:11a, EASY).
