Tonight is a very special night for four-year-old Eliza. In front of an adoring crowd, she will walk the Rally Foundation Runway at the Georgia Aquarium. The Rally Foundation exists to fund the most promising research in the treatment of childhood cancers.
“Eliza has requested that we all wear pink,” said her grandmother, Cathy, who is a beloved member of our Wednesday afternoon class.
I asked that Cathy resend the link for donating to the Rally Foundation in Eliza’s honor. She shared the most recent letter sent out by Eliza’s parents.

Nine weeks ago, we kicked off a fundraising competition for the Rally Foundation to raise money for childhood cancer research. We set a goal of raising over $350,000. Through the absolutely incredible support of our community, we have raised over $315,000 so far!! We have just one day left to reach our $350,000 goal before Eliza makes her modeling debut tonight at the annual Rally on the Runway gala with her fellow Rally kids.
