Good morning…
After reading yesterday’s post, I Give Up Our Daily Blog, a longtime friend emailed me, along with several other supportive subscribers.
Her simple words really resonated.
“Reading your blog this morning I sensed many of the words and slogans I hear in my 12 step alanaon program,” she explained.
- Detachment (with love )
- Let Go and Let God
- Surrender
- Keep an open mind
- Listen and learn
In your state of holy indifference, your wondering blog or not blog, I truly believe the right decision will be revealed to you and you will be at peace with it.
And as a wise friend of mine in the program says – ‘It will work out or it will work out.'”
When I applied myself to the study of wisdom and reflected on the kinds of tasks that occupy people’s attention on earth, I noticed how little sleep they generally get, whether day or night. I saw all the works and ways of God, and it became clear to me that no one is able to grasp fully this mystery called life (Ecclesiastes 8:16-17a, VOICE).
As we surrender ourselves more and more into the mystery of God, it will work out or it will work out.
