Good morning…

As I reflect upon the service celebrating Jessica Martin’s life, I think about a Scripture read by the pastor.

The sun has one kind of glory, while the moon and stars each have another kind. And even the stars differ from each other in their glory. It is the same way with the resurrection of the dead. Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever. Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength (1 Corinthians 15:41-43, NLT).

“Friends,” the pastor said, “for Jess, today is Easter morning.”

A gentle nod of affirmation came as I woke the next day. This touching video arrived in my inbox, reminding me of the colorful beauty of Jessica. Let’s watch on fullscreen mode, as we witness the quiet miracle right in front of our face.
